Nociceptores y dolor en el sistema estomatognático

Dado que el sistema estomatognático cumple funciones tan importantes, dispone, entre otras cosas, de un equipamiento sensorial muy amplio que comprende diferentes tipos de receptores, como los nociceptores, los cuales son terminaciones nerviosas libres (TNL) que por definición informan de la presencia de estímulos causantes de daño estructural.
